How to install LiveWall

Windows or Android may show a warning the first time. Here is how to proceed safely.

Windows

Why does a warning appear?

Windows SmartScreen shows alerts for new apps that do not have many downloads yet — even when they are completely safe. It does not mean the app is dangerous.

Download for Windows
1

In the browser: click “Keep”

After downloading, Chrome or Edge may show a warning. Click … next to the file and choose Keep anyway.

2

On the blue Windows screen: click “More info”

If “Windows protected your PC” appears, click More info and then Run anyway.

3

Done — LiveWall opens

Choose a video in the panel. To close the app, use Exit on the tray icon (bottom-right corner).

Android

Coming soon

Requires Android 7.0 or later

LiveWall is not yet available in app stores (Google Play). The official download is made exclusively through this website.
Automatic, safe updates inside the app

After installing, the app itself detects new versions and downloads the update straight to your phone — no need to come back here or open the browser.

How updating works

When a new version is released, you will see a notice inside the app with what is new. Just tap Update now and the download starts right away.

Google Play Protect checks the app

We recommend allowing Play Protect to scan the app on installation and on every update — it is Android’s native security system that checks apps for malware.

How to install for the first time

  1. Tap Download APK above.
  2. If the browser shows a security warning, tap Download anyway.
  3. Open the APK file (from the notifications or the Downloads folder).
  4. Tap Install. If Play Protect asks, tap Scan — we recommend it. If Install unknown apps appears, allow it for your browser and try again.
  5. Done! Open LiveWall, choose a video and tap Apply as wallpaper.

Requires Android 7.0 or later. No Google Play account needed.
